Silver lining

20160709_083720

Tension rose

The strength became the wire

Which we both  decided to  walk

You were the source

I  the electricity

The mattress was covered

In plastic

And the sheets weren’t

As we were fitting

But both of us together

were  incapable

man made magnetism

No one knows how it works

Only that it does

And if you mess with it

It will mess with you

The mattress was covered

In plastic

What was fitting

Was how it ended

In a locked ward

no one knows how it works

But we chose to mess with it

& Each other

In hindsight

What I chose

Was slow torture

Then to keep

Messin with you

  1. I had a relationship like this once, and once was enough. Pure magnetism, and insanity drove me. Nearly broke me, too — in mind, body, and money! Ha! Never again, man. I loved and also was tortured reading this. Hard core words that bring back memories that still leave me shaking.
