Dearly Beloved

Art as the form

To chisel out your expression

Or the wicked pen

Could be the nail

Art as the form

An expression before parting of the ways

Art as the form

Words are used to paint what others can’t say

I wish I knew another way…

To stop this build cold dead

But once the wicked is picked up

It’s not only another nail

It’s a hammer too

To seal the coffin

& stop the process cold dead

This your brain on pain meds

  1. I really liked the line, “Words are used to paint what others can’t say.” It reminded me of a line from a poem I had to study at high school by Alexander Pope in which he talked about great poetry being “What oft was thought, but ne’er so well express’d.”
