We stand alone
Once people living next door
They use to be called neighbors
Now we are all strangers
Words that were once spoken
Children that use to play ……
Now it’s all stories
Told once a upon a time

I recognise so much in your reflections..so true..the older you get the more you realise that mostly you have to go it alone.

It’s true, the friends I still have mostly come from when we had young children (now all grown). It’s hard to make connections on your own when you’re an adult. (K)

Sheldon, you words ring so true. Timnes have changed. Having neighbors is not the same as it used to be. At least here in the big city it feels that way.
