Loneliness Hung A Nail

The empty calling of the wind

as the darkness fell   She called what was

left of the night   It’s uncertainty

makes the night breed loneliness

The house already had a language

of its own,the roof,the walls,all

the way down to the floor boards

that creek when you walked

Loneliness hung wherever

there was space and from my

naked eye,no food,no love

empty bottles,naked reeked

I was definitely smellin what

I was steppin in,I was the nail

lookin for that hammer
