Her Home

She came out

combat ready

Emerging out of

the train station

Her home away

from life’s fears

Wearing armour

ready blue jean

coat soiled by

the ills of life

Sweat pants

Black boots

& a woolen cap

to hold her hair

She was keeping warm

As the sun appeared

It’s what I think

she thought she

could control

A true statement

she must of been

looking for one

She was wearing

the street

as her true colors were

She didn’t look like

she had lost her way

But one could……

Maybe she had

found what she

looking for

Not a one way ticket

But a safe place to stay

This was my observation

This is what life has done to us all

In different degrees

But yes

It takes

As well as it………
