I’m Small

As the hours start to tick down

I begin to feel the anxiety

To fill the empty void

The thoughts start to race

My heart begins to pump

What was calm becomes

Instant adrenaline

I am leaving reality

And entering a space

Of sensory deprivation

I can see but can not hear

The anxiety is so loud

That’s all I can hear

The void is

a vacuum

Of nothingness

I can rest cause now

I know I am home
