Once Came Life

I had been thrown out of many a place

As my behaviour had dictated my actions

Drugs was my face,as I told many a story without

laughter

As quick to find a new home

As to set up shop

it was never a problem till it became too frequent

Yet it never crossed my mind that I had to stop

Till my body and mind could no longer set up shop

It was only when they found me passed out

That I knew I was doom and confine to a room without Windows and a door with a lock

A dream turned nightmare

I screamed

I WANT HIM TO STOP

Into the cold of darkness once came a life
