Patience in Beauty

A seed was planted

But never grew

How we wanted

and waited

for its fruit

He who is

that time

takes time

Even with every

that passed

he still waited

for this plant

to bare

But nothing came

accept the

greenest of leaves

Then once he turned

and walked

And came back

to find not one

But all his

had fruit

Still patience

in age will

bare the fruit

But not in time of man

but in time of seed

measure not by

But when the seed

finds its soil and roots

Then it’s fruit

shall be

Time takes time

But patience

is the beauty

of the fruit
